Our MAIN focus is Health & Temperament!! We only breed dogs that have passed OFA or Penn Hipp testing on hips and elbows and are DM clear. All our dogs are Embark tested for over 190+ health conditions and traits. Our dogs are Low to Medium drive which gives them a  family style temperament and are easily trainable while still keeping their German Shepherd instinct to protect their homes and families.  Their soft and calm nature makes them love to come in, lay at your feet and interact with their family or go outside for a day of play and fun! We do not breed: dogs that are hyper, dogs that show any signs of aggression, high drive dogs, or dogs with excessive angulation.   

Serenity Hill German Shepherds is located on a 40 acre family farm which allows our pack to get plenty of exercise and daily fun! Along with lots of land for them to run, play and hunt (search) on we have a pond for fun summer swims. Our dogs are first and foremost our beloved pets!!! They all live in our home and are considered part of the family! We spend time with our pack daily to assure they get quality socialization time and exercise and also spend one-on-one time with each dog to allow us to have bonding and training time with them! We have a 1/2 acre fenced in area for secure running and playing if we are unable to supervise play time. We look forward to helping you find your next family companion!!!     

 Our Puppies are born and raised in our home! This means your puppy goes home with you already socialized with other dogs, with children, and familiar with all the sights and sounds of a normal home. We spend several hours a day feeding, handling, training and playing with our puppies which make for a better temperament.  All puppies will be current on all vaccinations, on a set deworming schedule and micro-chipped.      

We are located in Dixon Springs,IL. .   We strongly encourage you to visit us (by appointment) to see our dogs and facilities in person! We will provide detailed travel directions when you schedule with us for your visit.  Visitors that are driving in, we are approx. 40 minutes from Marion IL and 30 minutes from Paducah KY.   Visitors flying commercial airlines can fly in to Nashville, TN (BNA) or St. Louis MO (STL), each about a 3 hour drive from our farm. Ask us about our flying into our local airports!
